A beautifully retouched photo should be real, have character, balance the focus of the viewers eye to the right focal point of the image, and show a balance of detail and perfection. Our approach to image retouching is to remove distracting shadows, anomalies, skin imperfections and other image flaws, while maintaining pore detail and realism. When flipping through the top glamor magazines, flawless radiant skin also has pores, realistic hair and other details that make the image look “real” instead of “fake”. Our goal in retouching people is to attain a balance between perfection and realism.
